If you are a webmaster, you need to know when your or your client’s site goes down. You don’t want your site to go down which can cost you a lot of money. Depending on how much reach your site has the damage can be exponentially worse.
Uptime monitor helps with this issue– it monitors when a site responds wit ha 404 error, SSL monitoring, and other advanced features. The service has a free tier which allows up to 50 concurrent checks which can be set to scan every 5 minutes.
